Pedro Bessa Rodrigues

After becoming the Queensland Champion in his division last July, Pedro was eager to compete for the first time at the National Jiu Jitsu Tournament in Melbourne. His dedication to training and learning, both as a competitor and as an assistant coach to his father with the younger children, paid off. Pedro had two remarkable matches, winning his first in just 29 seconds, which advanced him to the finals. In the final match, he secured victory by points against a strong opponent, earning him the Gold Medal in his division. We are incredibly grateful for the support from the community that helps Pedro thrive in all areas of his life. Pedro is now looking forward to his next challenge, always eager to learn and grow from every opportunity. Congratulations Pedro!
