Excellence programs are offered in a range of areas to address the needs of students currently enrolled in our school
Our Academic Academy provides intellectually challenging work for our students who are excelling in Year 3 to 6.
Students must be identified as gifted and talented or have very high academic results.
Evidence to support the student's entry to the program may include:
- School reports demonstrating A standards in Maths, Science and English
- ICAS test results showing Distinction or High Distinction achievement
- NAPLAN results
- SAGES2 results
- WISC/WPPSI results
Applicants should also demonstrate characteristics of
- Independent learning
- A passion for learning
Pathways have been established for Academy senior students to gain automatic entry to local high school academic excellence programs.
Sports, Music, Dance and Japanese Excellence
Students in these programs have been achieving great things at Broadbeach Independent Public School (IPS). Some recent achievements include:
