Danc’eD in the Spotlight is a not-for-profit event featuring performances by over 800 primary and secondary
students from 24 State, Catholic and Independent schools on the Gold Coast.
As the Gold Coast’s only combined schools’ concert, Danc’eD in the Spotlight is not only unique but it is also
the largest dance festival of its kind in Queensland. In its sixteenth year, thousands of local students have
danced their way across the stage as part of this community event. Danc’eD in the Spotlight provides a
tremendous opportunity each year for hundreds of students to experience the thrill of performing in a
professional, but non-competitive, atmosphere.

Our Year 1 Troupe and Hip Hop Boys Troupes will be performing yet again at the annual school dance showcase, Danc’eD in the Spotlight on Friday 25 October. These troupes are busy preparing and are super excited to get up on stage.
